Traveling as Couple
Although this hotel was very modern and clean, it went over the top and so gave up comfort for appearance. The only sitting places in the room were either an uncomfortable desk chair or a window seat that faced a parking lot that was very awkward to sit on and was also uncomfortable. There was no complementary coffee available and the cost of ordering a tea and a coffee came to almost $20. Although we liked the hotel overall, we probably wouldn't stay here again. ...read more

Traveling as Couple
This is a great spot for couples or singles looking for a fun weekend. Walking distance to the Gaslamp District. Great bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel turns into a night-club in the evening. Very fun. Also had a great outdoor deck with D.J. and full bar. Comfortable setting with Cabanas in the sand. I would highly recommend this hotel. ...read more

This hotel is definitely not family/kid friendly. Room was very small and somewhat dirty. Parking was horrible.

bit too trendy - even when I knew who signed for my FedEx package the staff did not look for it.
Very cool, hip, hotel - big bar scene - great happy hour - food and drink specials.
